This page explains what happens to your details when you join the BeReady waitlist. The short version: we use your email only for occasional updates about BeReady and to tell you when it opens.

What we collect
- Your email address.
- Which form on the page you used.
- The trail you type after joining, if you choose to. When you answer right after signing up, it is stored with your email address.
- Anything you choose to tell us when you reply to our emails.
To deliver this page and filter spam, our host also processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type.
Why we use it
- To send occasional updates while we build BeReady, and an email when it opens.
We don’t sell your details, share them for advertising, or add you to anyone else’s mailing list.
Legal basis
Your consent, which you give when you join the waitlist (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us or replying to any email from us. For delivering the page and filtering spam, our legitimate interest in running the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who else handles your data
- Netlify, Inc. (USA) hosts this page and stores the signups for us. Transfers to the USA are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in Netlify’s data processing agreement.
- Google (Gmail) is our email inbox. Netlify forwards each new signup there, and we use it when we email you.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and no longer than 12 months after BeReady opens.
Cookies and tracking
This page sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. Fonts load from this site, not from Google.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, delete or hand over your data, or to stop using it. Email bereadyhiking@gmail.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
